Railroad Photography

A vibrant and dramatic hobby I really enjoy. You can view my recent work in the following galleries.

Passion

What started as a need for reference material for my flat work turned into a rewarding and captivating hobby. The choreography and investment involved to make these images a reality is profound. Not only is photography skill a must; luck is paramount. Getting the shot often requires serious dedication but also sacrifice. As a friend says in the business “You need to get out of your comfort zone.”

Safety around and with the Railroads

Setting a standard of safety and professionalism. So much more than a hobby.

Breaking new ground.

I look to my colleagues in the hobby for inspiration and try to be different from the traditions offering a fresh look at an old pastime.

Gorgeous shot!! 🔥

Have at it. I’d like to see what you do. If it is as good as your photography, it’ll be a winner.
